Larry and Lisa provide great peaceful place, from where we can travel in the whole region. Larry gave us great recommendations about hiking in the region, which we followed. Very convenient to go to Hallstatt by boat, yet not crowded i the peaceful at the place of stay. Definitely recommend.

This has been the best place I’ve ever stayed. The house is incredibly cozy, full of beautiful details, spotlessly clean, and the view is simply breathtaking. Larry and Lisa are the kindest hosts — their warmth and care truly make you feel at home. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, made with love and served with joy. You can feel the heart and soul they’ve poured into this place, and the genuine love they share with their guests. Obertraun is the perfect spot to experience an authentic Austrian village — peaceful, picturesque, and full of charm. Don’t hesitate — stay here. I’m already dreaming of the day I’ll return.

Absolutely perfect stay! We had an amazing time in this beautiful guesthouse run by the loveliest English couple. The location is peaceful, surrounded by stunning mountain views, yet close to many local attractions. The place was exceptionally clean, quiet, and cozy – we felt completely at home. Breakfasts were delicious, and the hosts went above and beyond to make our stay special with their kindness and helpful tips. Highly recommended – we’ll definitely come back! Thank you Larry & Lisa!
