Haus Alpenblick was lovely. An easy walk into Obertraun meant you were close to everything but felt very relaxed. The apartment was beautifully presented and the gardens lovely. It was the little thoughtful things though that made it such a wonderful experience, like ensuring the shade umbrella was up or down as appropriate and leaving little lights on the outdoor table and blankets on the chairs so we could enjoy the cool evening after a hot day of activity. Even the friendly waves when we returned each day made us feel truly welcome.
