Casa Mediterranea is a true gem—beautifully designed with thoughtful, inviting spaces throughout. The tranquil courtyard is perfect for enjoying the delicious breakfast, which includes the best pesto I’ve ever had, made with homegrown Rucola, almonds, pecorino, and their own olive oil. Ivo and Rita are heartwarming hosts, incredibly welcoming and full of local knowledge, offering not just a stay, but an authentic Sardinian experience.

Incredible place, incredible hosts with the highest sense of hospitality you could hope to find. Everything in this house is thought through with great care. The garden and the terrasse are magical. The rooms are very spacious in terms of ceiling height and surface. The recommendations we got to discover the region were amazing. It really helped connecting to the region. A real out of the beaten path location. If you are like us, you will wish you have stayed longer.

If you are looking for an authentic Italian vacation, this is it! The nicest hosting family, beautifully designed house and rooms, stunning garden where under a lemon tree you are served delicious home made breakfast full of local products. The hosts even kindly adjusted it to our special diet. The accommodation is quite close to the airport and nearby there are little villages to spend some quality time. We had a blast, thank you!<3

OMG the daily breakfast was a labor of love and a work of art! Ivo and Rita pour their heart and soul into creating healthy, nutrient dense, locally sourced, authentic culinary creations. Their young son also helps out in the kitchen- it's truly a family affair and we feel blessed to have had the experience. We were also fortunate to tour the area with Ivo and learn more about the history of the Sardinian culture and what contributes to their longevity, most notably in the Barbagia region. It was a rich immersive cultural experience that we will always treasure.
