Our stay at Darwesh Nyumba Lodge was truly unforgettable! The hosts were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and fun to talk to—we had great conversations with them throughout our stay. They went above and beyond to make us feel at home. One of the highlights was the fresh, homemade dinner they prepared for us (optional but absolutely worth it). It was hands down the best meal we had during our trip—authentic local flavors, beautifully cooked, and far better than any restaurant we tried. You can really taste the love and tradition in their food! The accommodation itself was very stylish, clean, comfortable, and in a perfect location— 5 mins walking to the beach. The warm hospitality, the amazing food, and the great atmosphere make this place truly special. If you’re looking for an authentic and welcoming experience, this is the place to be!

A place created with passion and heart. The host creates a fantastic atmosphere. Everyone is very nice and open. Rooms and bathrooms spacious and very comfortable. The garden is beautifully lit in the evening. A huge advantage is access to hot water.

We liked so much our stay in Darwesh Nyumba. The place is so chill and peaceful. Warm welcome ! The owners gave us advice on the activities we could do and restaurants we can eat. Go there without any hesitation :)

We had such an amazing stay and we really recommend it. The place is very peaceful. There are palms and enough shade in the area. The nearest beach is beautiful. The stuff was nice and friendly and the owners helped us with arranging trips for a good price and recommend us what to visit. We had fresh fruit and juice for the breakfast every morning. The location is good for visiting Kendwa and the rest of Nungwi. Just a short walk from the beach without big low tides that are on other beaches.
