All the staff was very friendly and hardworking (particularly the cleaning and maintenance personnel). There is a lovely garden and pool (and fountain!) courtyard that the rooms lookout over. It is an older building so there are creaks and cracks, but overall it is safe and clean. The balcony door opened into the courtyard! Birds and trees and a cool breeze. It's closer to the freeway than I thought it would be, but only the morning commuter traffic brought a bit of noise...and I could only hear it because I had the door open. Overall it provides, within its budget, a good experience.

Convenient stopover for San Francisco airport. Very near highway. Very quick drive into Novato for food.

I had requested a quiet room, away from the traffic noise of Highway 101. The hotel staff gave us a large comfortable ground floor room with its own parking space round the back of the main block. Just what I was looking for. The staff were first class - Our room had a couple of electrical and plumbing faults, but they were fixed within a few hours. Also, a lovely cheerful lady cleaned the room and changed the towels daily. The hotel is located on a long cul-de-sac a little way outside Novato, but it was easily accessible from a junction on Highway 101, so it suited us well for a week because we were visiting friends living in Novato. It would also be a useful for an overnight stop on a long road trip from/to San Francisco.

Swimming pool and surrounds very good. Staff were excellent - very helpful. Having laundry facilities was good. The room was comfortable. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was acceptable.
