Good location, parking was a pain but not your fault, town was empty with plenty of parking but couldn’t park outside the property for more than 90 mins.

Beautiful and spacious apartment, kitchen well equipped. Living room with comfortable sofas and scenic view from dinner table. Modern heating system. Conveniently located just at the edge of the historic centre, high-quality local grocery shops in walking distance. We also used it as a basis for trips from the Scottish Seabird Centre at the harbour, 8-10 minutes walk.

The location was very good.🙂 Not too far from the beach but also not so close that it would be in danger of flooding. It was also a couple minute walk from the station, which was good as we were relying on public transport. Another thing that pleased us was the bookcase. It had great books, also ones about Scotland, and a couple of fun games, as well as maps of the area. There is also a guestbook (not in the shelf) with great tips for parks...

The rooms are spacious, and although the furnishings are dated, the beds and sofas are very comfortable. The kitchen is well appointed. Everything worked, the wifi, TV, all appliances, central heating, shower. We know this area well, and we would definitely recommend Sandstones for any visiting walker, golfer, or Edinburgh tourist.
