Great location, close to train station. 1 station away from kyoto station and using the other line, it’s 1 station away from fushima inari temple. This is old, authentic japanese house complete with all you need, kitchen, laundy. We loved relaxing in the living room sitting on tatami after a long day of walking around. The other rooms are upstairs with quite steep stairs, it has handrails but we just asked the kids not to go there, there is a bed downstairs anyway and we put some futon beds on the living room.

In most cases, when tourists come to Kyoto, they will come to see the Japanese style. This is the best hotel to fulfill that goal. It is a great place to travel "remember" because it has a strong Japanese style and is comfortable. We had three beds a terrace and a living room, a washing machine. It really looks as a Japanese house and is very cute. With the code the check in is very easy. Very close to the tokufuji railway station so direct to go to the fushima inari temple and to Nara
