We stayed at Dozen-Ryokan and Café as a family of four and had a great experience. The family room was spacious, clean, and gave a very traditional Japanese feel, which we really enjoyed. The beds were extremely comfortable—just what we needed after long days of walking around Kyoto. Even though the bathrooms were shared, there were enough of them and they were always very clean and well-kept, so it was never an issue. The location is also very convenient, just a short walk from the train station, which made getting around Kyoto easy. Overall, a very comfortable and unique stay—highly recommended for families!

Very good location, close to Kyoto station. The ryokan was very nice, tidy, clean and comfortable. We stayed at the Ninja room and the details made all difference, with shurikens on the walls. Staff was great giving me all the instructions and informations I need to check in, as we arrived after reception hours.
