It was great to see how friendly everyone was. Everyone from part time staff to owners of the lodge were extremely kind and friendly. Offering to help at any point they could.

Breakfast was great - large selection of cooked breakfast, toast, spreads, yoghurt and fruit! One morning we arrived just before the breakfast hour ended and the staff offered to cook us some more eggs and sausages even if it tipped us over the end of breakfast time, which was really appreciated. We could get the room as cosy as we liked with the heater, and had a lovely view where we could see Mt Yotei. Location was perfect for walking into town after skiing, and there was a shuttle stop a couple minutes walk away to get to the gondola easily.

Breakfast was great - if you like bacon, scrambled eggs and hashbrowns which I do. Staff is really friendly. If you are going by yourself or just a friend, its a very social space, they organize drinks with other lodges and hang out in the lounge. I had friends in town so I didn't join but otherwise would have been tempted. Rooms are clean and the lodge is well mantained. Bed was comfortable and I slept well (mattress is firm), though the pillow was tiny and didn't really support my neck or head well.

Slowlife was awesome and offered all the facilities that you’ll need for a great ski trip. Breakfast was tasty with a good range of options, the perfect way to start a day on the slopes. Chad and the team went above and beyond to make our stay the best it could possibly be. Thanks again guys and enjoy the rest of the season.
