Lovely accommodation. Very comfortable and located right on a canal, in a very convenient area for walking to restaurants. The house was charming, and the garden made for beautiful views from the window. Agnès was a terrific hostess, who was very knowledgeable about the local area and nearby attractions. She was proactive in communicating before we arrived, providing easy instructions for parking, and was on hand to greet us as we arrived. She also provided great meal recommendations. If you're looking for accommodation in Niort, try L'Horizon!

Location is superb. An easy walk into the town. The hostess was lovely and communication, after booking the place, was great. She spoke excellent English (much better than our French !) and was very friendly. The breakfast was really good and she chatted to us whilst we were having it. As we hadn`t eaten all of the brioche she wrapped this up and gave it to us so we had it the next day ! I had the double bed and my 2 mates had a single bed each in the adjoining room. My bed was comfy. Shared facilities for both rooms. Good shower, sink and toilet.

Innovative and well designed pair of rooms,in quiet part of a French town. Owner very helpful and recommended a nearby creperie within walking distance. Pleasant breakfast in owners kitchen
