This place was incredible purely due to the lovely staff! They went above and beyond to help us even waking up early to make us a cooked breakfast to take on our train journey with us upon departure. Would highly recommend!

Our toilet was blocked and after the staff came in to unblock it, she walked out across the room and dripped toilet water from the plunger all over the floor the entire way to the door. We were really shocked as this seemed highly unhygienic and unprofessional and made us feel very uncomfortable for the rest of our stay. We had food poisoning earlier in our trip so this lack of hygiene really disturbed us. Otherwise the staff were friendly and helpful and made suggestions for what to do. The included breakfast was good. We used the bikes which were free although they did not ride smoothly and some of the brakes did not work. The homestay is in a nice location which is peaceful and quiet. There is not as much nature around as we had hoped and the homestay is located on a street. Laundry service was good. Scary and aggressive dogs next door which made us feel unsafe at night.
