I loved my stay at Vitamin Sea. Rowan and his team were excellent hosts. Such a friendly atmosphere and the included breakfast was sensational. Other meals from the restaurant were great too. Such a special location, I had one of those rooms right in the beach - I highly recommend it. Perfect place for relaxing, eating and swimming all day on arguably Sri Lanka’s most beautiful beach

The location is fantastic - how special to open the door to your room straight onto the sand. The staff are lovely. No air conditioning or hot water but you don’t need either with the ocean right there and a ceiling fan to help keep you cool.

The staff make this place! Chris is one of the best hosts I've met during my time in Sri Lanka and goes above and beyond to make guests feel welcomed. You are paying for the location here and it's absolutely beautiful, directly on Nilaveli beach. Food is good and good prices, breakfast really good and filling.
