The apartment was really clean, a lot bigger that expected and had all the facilities. It was close to the Newark Penn Station (17m walking) and we were able to buy the weekly train pass to New York Pennsylvania Station for $46.50 and that runs from Saturday to Saturday. The train is about 25m and runs all the time. Then we just tapped out cards to use the subway. I would really recommend the apartment because it was great in terms of quality/cost and the host was super responsive throughout the whole time.

Clean apartment in what I felt was a safe area . 20 mins walk from apartment to penn station to get to nyc was great too
