Spacious rooms (much larger than indicated), beautiful design (older Manhattan style preserved), nice natural materials (wood floor, furniture), good service. I had probably the worst room (3rd floor, back room), but I still liked the view on this cozy inner block in red blicks

The room was gorgeous, huge amount of living space and beautifully decorated with attention to the Art Deco period.

Great location a short walk from Grand Central. Room and amenities were nice and clean, a touch dated in areas. It is an old hotel.
