1. Very immediate and helpful resoponses from the host 2. Room is small but basically with all the necessary ameinities (but no elevator) 3. 5-min walk from the nearest subway & bus stations 4. Even though Harlem is considered a more dangerous area in the city, I feel it fine (at least around this apt)

Localization was nice, few minutes to subway station. We also felt safe in the neighborhood. It was easy to get in using codes and apartment was well equiped, mostly in terms of kitchen equipment but some general basic things like hairdryer.

Excellent new york style apt. on a silent street next to all happening and services of Harlem. Very quiet neighbours and cozy apt and location. Subway is very near to lower Manhattan, which makes staying here very convenient.

The room is tiny, but cosy. Apart from the bed, there isn’t even enough space for a desk. However, it does have a fridge, kettle, microwave, and a fairly spacious wardrobe. Overall, my stay was very pleasant — I spent a month there, though I was out most of the time. Cleanliness is at a high standard. The bathrooms are in the corridor (the ones on the upper floors are better…), a bit old but well-maintained and clean. The window has a light blind and heavy wooden shutters — it’s possible to completely darken the room. The landlady is absolutely lovely and very helpful; she responded immediately to all of my requests.
