The fine print
When booking 10 rooms or more, different policies and additional supplements may apply.We would welcome a dog on property but only when staying in a private room and subject to a fee per dog per Stay. Only Dog under 75lbs./ 34kg.Luggage can be store for a small fee: $2 per bag for early arrival and $3 per bag after the check out.AGE RESTRICTIONS: Individuals under the age of 18 can only stay at the Hostel when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian in the same room.
The room must be private.
Unaccompanied under 18's are not allowed to stay in shared rooms, unless they are part of a group that has booked out the entire shared room. The group leader must provide the required documentation to Generator. Failure to comply with these policies will result in automatic cancellation of the booking with no refund. Guests violating these rules will not be permitted to check into the Hostel.Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

I loved the location. So close to Times Square and everything i needed to do in NYC. I love that they have a reasonable security deposit fee especially for people with international cards where funds are never returned

Perfect location! Great for a short stay. The room I got had no view from the window but had a bath which was lovely.

Great location, times square is just a short walk away and subways are super close to head out of the city also. The rooms are on the smaller side (as typical for nyc) but there is a beautiful lobby to hang out in where you can lounge out for extra space - super comfy and live performance on one of the nights we stayed. Staff were helpful, particularly the concierge who arranged our taxi to JFK with the best rates. Would stay again.
