This was a lovely place to unwind and regroup during a 5 week stay travelling round New Zealand. I’d highly recommend this. You can see New Plymouth and the sugar loaf islands and Taranaki is a short drive away. Take your food for the evening and enjoy the bottle of wine and chocolate left by Shaan ❤️

Amazing place to stay. Hosts are great. Friendly and personable. The outdoor bath is amazing. To wake up the next morning and look at a volcano is something that I will never forget. The view from the balcony is beautiful with the sun shining. Will definitely be back on our next visit. 10/10.

Breakfast was continental, which was fine. Coffee, tea , milk, cereal, toast, butter and a choice of spreads. The wine and chocolate were a nice surprise. The outside bath overlooking the valley was lovely and felt indulgent. When the clouds cleared there was a fabulous view of Mount Taranaki. Easily accessible to great walking tracks

It is the perfect stay before doing a hike up to the Tarn lookout point of mount Taranaki.
