The fine print
Based on local tax laws, guests with a tourist visa to Israel are exempted from paying VAT for their reservation. Israeli citizens and residents ("non tourists" as defined in the VAT law) must pay VAT. This tax is automatically calculated in the total cost of the reservation for domestic customers. For guests booking from outside of Israel, the tax is not included in the total price.Please note the swimming pool is open from April until October. The staff are amazing. They went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. The food was unbelievable. Best hotel food I've tasted. The rooms were very spacious. However, I recommend not to be facing the square it was very noisy till very late at night. I loved the fact that they gave out extra food throughout shabbat it was a really nice touch.

We had such a wonderful stay at the Leonardo Hotel! The service was beyond amazing - the staff were incredibly friendly and even surprised us with a free upgrades. The food was absolutely delicious-every meal felt like a treat and the location, with its stunning views, couldn’t have been more perfect. Highly recommend definitely worth the money!
