I couldn't have hoped for a better start for my holiday in Sri Lanka. Mario family villa is a small accommation with a lot of charm - a true gem! The beautifully renovated house is set in a quiet neighbourhood of Negombo. It is easily reachable via Tuk Tuk or taxi. The rooms itself are very clean and spacious at a very fair price point. The owner Roshan is very kind and knowledgable. He was constantly available, offering information on transportation and things to do in Negombo. Also, he checked in if everything was okay when it took me longer than expected to arrive from the airport. Especially as a female solo traveller, small gestures like that make you feel safe and welcomed. The hospitality I have experienced was one of a kind! I can definitely recommend this place & will come back again. Thank you for everything, Roshan!

This place is a gem! This was the nicest and cleanest stay we had in Sri Lanka, everything was taken care of down to the last detail. The room is large and hygienic, and you will be in a very quiet environment. The host is very friendly and helps where needed, thanks Roshan! We regret that we only stayed here for 1 night. If we go back to Sri Lanka we will definitely book this again. If you want to stay in Negombo, definitely stay here!
