Silver Sands is a great reliable place to stay, Washington is wonderful and the location is the best. You can't do much better in Negombo!!

Hotel is on a verv good location on the beach, you can hear and watch the waves, you can go swimming, food is always prepared fresh accirding to your wish, akso marcets are around, wensday and sunday you have veg market maybekm away, you can buy fresh fish on the beach and many other things like food nasage etc you will find there

Is friendly family hotel with very helpful staff and excellent cook and is lovely old style Portugese building right on the beach. The owner Terry arranged taxis for me and trip on lagoon and was most welcoming and helpful.
