We only stayed one night before flying home. It's a great location about 20 minutes drive from the airport. We had a twin room with a 3rd bed for our son (10$ extra and you need to request in advance). It was just what we needed for 1 night, but if staying longer the space was small. The pool area is great, and has beach access. We had to leave before breakfast so can't comment on the food, but the staff were all friendly and helpful. There are lots of restaurants and shops close by, we went to Jude's, about a 20 minute walk from the hotel, and the food was delicious

Delicious breakfast (enjoyed the local curries) and tropical fruit. The pool was refreshing with a bar beside the pool for a cool drink. The chef cooked a dish for my husband who is coeliac especially to meet his dietary needs. Staff also pointed out other dishes in the buffet which were gluten free.

Fantastic hotel in great location for exploring Negombo, and/or short stay at beginning//end of trip. Lovely pools and by beach, and only 30-40 mins from airport (or less if your driver realises your flight is soon!!) Staff were plentiful, attentive and friendly and made our stay fantastic. Breakfast is amazing - pastries, bread, continental, fruits, fruit juices (in a "cool room") sausages, fried tomatoes etc plus omlettes made to order, and wide range of Sri Lankan food. We were 1/2 board and evening meal was 4 course menu some nights and buffet another - all excellent. We bought lunch from pool bar, good food, but not quite as cheap as it appears as they add around 30% (service charge, taxes etc) but still good value.
