Very quiet area of town and very good restaurant in the area, nice and close to the ocean(slept wit the widows open). Big Beaches were a quick 7 minutes away (by metro) smaller beaches were 2 minutes walk away. Very simple room, for our needs.

The couple that runs the hotel are the nicest human beings. They were very communicative and quick to respond to our request to book and any other further questions. We are deeply appreciative for their hospitality.

Before we arrived to the hotel, our landlady (she was the best) has contacted us and communicated with us throughout the whole stay through WhatsApp. She regularly asked if we need anything and if everything is ok. In the end of our stay, she reserved a taxi for the middle of the night and checked on us even after the journey (and bless her for that! our taxi driver made us pay twice more than the agreement with the hotel, pretended not to speak English..., - when she asked us about the taxi retrospecively and found that out, she actively helped us to sort that out and we got our money back!). The rooms are lovely, cozy and nicely equipped, with TV and AC and a nice bathroom with everything we needed. Nothing was a problem. There were three rooms in the hotel and for most of the time we were the only hosts there. Overall, I think the Taromy hotel is a very nice and peaceful oasis in the quite "free spirited" and somewhat filthy (sorry for such word) city district, with the top owners (that I rate 11/10!). I would definitely recommend it:)
