We spent 4 days in Naples. The accommodation is located outside the city center, which we really liked. For someone visiting the city for the first time, the buzz of the historic center can feel like a bit of a sensory overload, so returning to Madà at the end of the day is a pleasant feeling. We loved it. I’m usually very sensitive when it comes to beds and pillows, but the place was incredibly comfortable. There are shops and plenty of fantastic restaurants nearby. There’s a small beach about a 15-minute walk away, but we recommend Bagno Elena Beach instead — it’s about 45 minutes by bus 140 or train line 2, but totally worth it if you want to spend a full day by the sea. You can reach the city center in just a few minutes with train line 2, and the station is right next to the accommodation. If you’re heading to Capri or Amalfi, the port is about 15 minutes away by bus 141. Every morning at the café where breakfast is served, we were greeted with a big smile — after just one day, they already knew our favorites. The host is cool, kind, and helpful. I wish we had more time to spend there so we could have more conversations. Thank you!
