We had an amazing experience here. The food was incredible, the staff really attentive and helpful, the rooms were beautiful and well equipped. For a foreigner in Japan, it was really special to experience such an authentic Japanese Inn.

The property is located a little away from the centre of Nakatsugawa but it’s the perfect location. Your small home is nestled amongst the Japanese maple trees and can hear the river rushing below. The house itself is over a 100 years old but with a new bathroom facility which is convenient and comfortable. The staff go above and beyond in terms of their service, and the food is exceptional. They provide a shuttle service which is very helpful and convenient as well. We would say this is one of our favourite places we stayed at in Japan and will most definitely return!
