Very safe place so I can recommend for solo travels as I am. The host was incredible and very helpful with everything. When I changed my acommodation to be closer city centre and I forgot to take my sweater, she organized delivery for me. In the building was always security. The area is very safe even for one white woman. A lot of shops around. That was the most peace place in Kenia where I was. Citizens were very surprised to see me there but nobody pick on me on the street. Nobody tried to cheat me or rip off money. Nice bedroom and living room and I have in the kitchen everything what I needed.
