The Onsen is the reason to stay at this hotel. the facility is so clean and well thought out. You will have hotel "pajamas" to wear anywhere in the hotel, and you will be comforted to see many Japanese strutting around the hotel in these pajamas:) So wear them to the spa. Men and women have separate spa areas... and all are naked so just join in. The bathing area is nice and you have many shampoos and conditioners to choose from. and there are hairbrushes and hair dryers for afterwards. 3 pools, One very hot, outdoors under the stars, medium hot and cold plunge, which is refreshingly cold!. The sauna is also very hot. best I've had. You will need that seat cushion outside the door, so do take it into the sauna to sit on. So do enjoy the spa area:!! Also outside enjoy the free massage chairs and icebars to cool down:)
