The BEST host, in the BEST location with the FUNNEST activities ever. I’m writing this review 2 months after we’ve stayed and river roots is STILL by far the best place we’ve been on our trip so far.

We had an amazing stay here. It is located right beside the canal so easy access to backwater boat tours. Karun is an amazing host, he looked after our every need and even brought us to celebrate a festival with his family. I would recommend anyone to stay here.

Excellent homely food ,served with love and very moderately priced. The fish and prawns were fresh off the lake and cooked to perfection.Well located on the backwaters with easy access to the road as well as the waters. Has adequate safe parking on site.The host was very accommodative ,arranged boat rides and was polite.Could seamlessly connect to their wifi which was free.There were no restrictions on guest movement , offered privacy and the house seemed safe even for solo female travellers.The host stayed next door and was always available for any need..They even had solar power and the entire village seemed to be environment conscious.
