I definietly recommend for families, when the parents need some rest the kids could be playing in the basemanet where there is a playground (with obstacle course, table soccer, air foorbool, and more) or can feed the animals around (bunny, sheep, goat, alpaca, fish). Lots of hiking trails are available from the door, and they are also providing you with the Hochkonig summer card, which even expands the possibilities. Part of the staff was Hungarian and they were super kind and tried to help everything and the breakfast was also super. If you are tired of hiking, the spa area would be a good place to relax a bit.

Staff were very helpful and the food was excellent. Loved the proximity to the hills, the comfort of our room and how well you accommodated us!! Just an excellent experience and we would love to come back!

Breakfast was very good, traditional Austrian foods. Make your own eggs, especially for the children a highlight. Sauna area and recreational area downstairs. Big area for the children to play, without disturbing other guests downstairs. Perfect location, wonderful view, starting point for many hiking tours from the parking lot.
