Very friendly host made everything wonderful despite limitations

We stayed for 4 nights. This is not a new 4 star hotel - it is a very old building with all its eccentric characteristics but if you want the experience of staying in an authentic family chateau home complete with its cats, dogs and horses then this is the one. The building is beautifully surrounded by trees and natural landscaping with a good well equipped pool area. Breakfast was served outside most mornings and was very relaxing. From the hotel you can visit many interesting places as well as walking in the surrounding area. The host Isabel was very welcoming and we would recommend the chateau for anyone looking for an authentic French chateau experience. Thank you Isabel for sharing your wonderful home in a truly magical place.

It’s a real castle! Very well maintained by the host. All the interiors add more charm to the premises. Good breakfast served outdoors. Even Homemade yogurts. Big Parking place.. green garden, beautiful trees. We adored everything except the annoying neighbors’ rooster that started waking us up at 4:30. And it didn’t quit until 8! The host is very nice and caring.

The castle is fantastic with wonderful views, surrounded by nature, with a nice swimming pool - we wished we stayed for longer! But what makes it really awesome is the owners, their kindness, and their attention to every detail. Breakfast was fantastic with homemade yoghurt and jam among many other things, and even the pottery was handmade by the owner. Highly recommended!
