The staff were so nice and welcoming. I was able to contact them at any time for any requirements and were very courteous. The location is just a few minutes from the main road and the safety is great as doors will all be locked at night and can be opened with a bell or call. Furthermore, there was not a single disturbance from the other guests at the apartment which was a big win.

A four minute walk from the Mount Lavinia Railway Station which was perfect for my needs. It's also within a short walk of the Governor's Restaurant where the view down to Colombo is superb. AC and fan cooled the room very well and there is a refrigerator in the common space that was handy.
