Great location on the A1 ( but couldn't hear it or see it) 7 miles from Morpeth and about the same to Alnwick and it's impressive Castle...Hadrians Wall, Kielder water, national park, Holy Island, Bamburgh castle, Craster, Chillingham, and Berwick on Tweed, Warkworth etc etc all from 20-60 mins drive..about 15 mins drive to the coast, amazing beaches.....site was clean, and woodland all around, site had pub which served excellent meals with very good portions, limited menu, but all the standard pub food stuff..very large kids games room ..entertainment, quiz, bingo etc on an evening...the chalet itself had what you needed and was clean and tidy...plenty of space...hot tub was an enjoyable bonus, and ready 24/7 ..lots of wildlife on site we saw deer, swans and hares, ducks etc..

Liked the lovely quiet setting, the lights at the top of the roof and that place had good shower

The lodge was very nice and a good size to move around in. The hot tub was very good we enjoyed that very much .

Clean & tidy very nice place, nice people too. Had a nice selection of dvd and TV chilling.
