The location of the hotel is great! Virtually across the road from the entrance to the main metro stop in the city Berri UQAM which has 3 different lines. Old Montreal is also within walking distance, about 20 mins. Nearby there are a few squares in which there always seemed to be things happening, with live music, etc. It created a really good buzz in the local area. The hotel itself is decent and has a lot of potential. The hotel reception and bar/breakfast area look great and have clearly been done up relatively recently. The rooms are of a good size, with 2 queen size beds. The bathroom is also of a good size. The staff, on reception, cleaning and breakfast were always polite and happy to help. Breakfast is adequate, fresh pancakes and croissants, with muffins, toast and cereals. Helpful that this was included in the price.

Good location, but not if walking isn’t your thing. Key parts of the city are largely seperate.
