A pleasant place to stay - high enough away from the street noise yet close to restaurants and beach. Very comfortable beds, good sized bedrooms, cooling ceiling fans, great range of crockery, cutlery, glassware and cookware, washing machine with external clothes line. Small balconies with interesting views. Giovanni and welcome staff very helpful. Really appreciated being met at the station to help with carrying luggage up the steps and stairs.

The apartment was interesting in that it had a lot of interesting decor that made you feel like you were near the ocean. The place was large enough and far enough away from the main tourist area to be quiet but still within easy walking distance of restaurants, stores etc. the person who met us at the place was great and gave us good instructions on the "things you need to know about the place" like locking the door for example!

The location was great. In the center of the Old Town, close to the rail station and the walks. Clean, comfortable and affordable.

We had just a perfect stay at the Captain's in Monterosso:)! Giovanni is the best host ever, very obligiging, helpful and he was replying to our questions immediately.
