The location is amazing! You wake up with hummingbirds right outside the window. You can hear the wildlife at night. The trails are very nice and well maintained. The personnel is amazing, super friendly and they really help you to book tours or recommend restaurants or activities. It’s also a few meters from an amazing coffee shop! (Try their affogato it’s to die for).

Alyssia and all staff were so incredibly helpful and accommodating, going out of their way to help us with our late arrival, taxi bookings and restaurant recommendations. The lodge is beautiful, set in extensive and established gardens with dense forest and birdsong all around. Hearing the gentle roar of the wind through the trees was deeply relaxing. We really appreciated the location too, walking distance to Curi Cancha reserve, the Children's Rainforest and the lovely Casem and coffee centre. We would have loved to stay longer, but really look forward to returning in the future for some more Pura Vida.

Location was nice. A little outside town but with restaurants and coffee shops nearby. Nice walk to Curu nature preserve. Front desk staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, arranging a tour, a taxi, and accommodating our schedule if coming and going. We did not eat breakfast there so I can not rate that. Room was clean, and shower was hot. Beautiful setting.
