Clean and spatious appartment, comfortable beds, clean and nice bathroom, terrace in front of the front door, parking in front of the town, also suitable for a higher and longer vehicle - cca 10 min walk or public e-scooters available for rent. Would recommend for a shorter stay.

Our recent stay at Vecchia Casa was exceptional. Tucked away within the magical stone walls of Monemvasia Castle, close to the entrance which is a huge plus, Vecchia Casa offers an enchanting retreat that effortlessly marries historic beauty with modern comfort. Spread across two levels, this charming accommodation with old-world character arched doorways, rustic finishes, and timeless elegance while still providing all the contemporary amenities that make a stay truly luxurious. What truly elevates the experience is the incredible host, Georgia. Her warm demeanor and deep local knowledge transformed our visit into something unforgettable. With her guidance, we discovered hidden gems, tasted authentic regional cuisine, and explored lesser-known corners of the rock that only a local could recommend. Speaking of the rock Monemvasia Castle itself is a photographer’s paradise. Every twist and turn reveals stunning vantage points, sun-drenched stone pathways, and secret spots perfect for sipping a drink as the Aegean glistens in the distance. If you're looking for a place that feels like stepping back in time to a medieval dream with all the comforts of the present day, Vecchia Casa is the perfect escape. Highly recommended for travelers seeking atmosphere, authenticity, and hospitality at its finest.
