A beautiful traditional house just inside the gate of Monemvasia kastro with a charming host. Fantastic character with bedrooms looking straight on to the sea and a huge patio with sea view.

Beautiful old house very close to the city gate. Amazing view to the sea both from the bedrooms and the (not so little as it initially looked) terrace. Loved taking breakfast & sunbathing every morning there. Clean and comfortable. Our hosts were more than helpful making our stay even better. Each morning we drank our morning coffee on the large terrace overlooking the sea, then we went to the restaurant next door for a delicious breakfast! It was really fun to explore the alleys and quaint streets of the lower old town, then to climb up to the top of the 'Rock' and ramble around the historic sites and the castle. Our hostess was fantastic - welcoming and helpful. Monemvasia is a really unique and beautiful town, and Athina Guesthouse is the perfect place to stay!
