Beautifully restored cottage surrounded by lovely gardens set in a peaceful environment. After travelling around Portugal for 3 weeks this was the quiet retreat we needed. So close to the coast so we visited many towns and ate lots of delicious seafood & black pork. Jorge is a great host and provided loads of information to assist with our daily adventures & local restaurants for dinner. Would also recommend some time at a local Caldas thermal pool. So glad we found this haven in the hills.

Although the property is remote and difficult to find, it is an oasis of peace and beauty The garden is great with water features and lovely plantings - obviously much loved by its very welcoming owner

Beautiful garden. we loved the privacy. Utterly quiet but v near big shop for food so best of both worlds. Great location for walking in the hills and going to the coast. The little log burner was perfect for the chilly evenings when too cold to still be in the lovely garden.
