We loved our own little cabin, perfect for a couple and the air condition was amazing. Lovely little grounds and the bar was always full of other people travelling. Staff were helpful arranging our lifts to the location and you are just on the main strip outside the village so close to everything.

Aesthetic, shared facilities were clean & didn’t smell bad. There was a Place for drying wet clothes. I forgot my check out day but the staff were very accommodating in not throwing my stuff out & letting me book another night .. oops! Close to everything. Nice quiet hostel

We had an amazing stay at The Backyard Inn! The location couldn’t have been better—right in the heart of everything, just a short walk to the beach (where we caught glimpses of the sardine run and turtles) and close to loads of great restaurants. Our wooden cabin was surprisingly spacious, and the AC was a lifesaver in the heat. The whole space had a laid-back, cozy feel that made it easy to relax and feel at home. The staff were fantastic—both at reception and the bar. The reception team helped us book a tour, which was super convenient, and most nights we ended up hanging out at the bar during happy hour, always greeted by a super friendly bartender who made us feel welcome every time. The stay overall was amazing, and we genuinely loved it. Our only tiny complaint? A particularly vocal chicken that seemed to be on a mission to wake the whole area every morning 😂 If you’re a light sleeper, bring earplugs—or grab the ones they thoughtfully provide. Would 100% stay again. Great vibes, awesome people, and the perfect base to explore the area!
