We loved staying in the beautiful and comfortable room. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The hostel has great amenities and common areas, with a nice atmosphere and not too loud. They offer a nice array of foods and drinks, but it is also very close to other restaurants and cafes if you prefer something else. Great location, especially if you plan to dive/snorkel!

location was perfect. The room was the best of our trip. The air conditioning was essential and a welcome relief every day. It also made all the difference with being able to sleep. The food was really impressive and good value. Thew staff couldn't have done more for us. It was our first stop in the Philippines and left us with a very very positive feeling about the rest of our trip. It was one of the best back packer hostels I have ever stayed in and in such a good position in Moal Boal. I would highly recommend Chief Mau to anyone staying in the town. Thank you to the staff especially. They helped us with everything we needed, trips, taxis, etc.
