It was a 6 mins walk from the Station to the Hotel (recommend using Google Maps); and I had a reasonable sized room, clean bathroom and toilet, with an additional sink, mirrored unit in the main area, so a bonus; and a comfortable and quiet overnight stay. :D

The location is good, it's an easy walk from Miyako station. The staff didn't really understand English but they did their best to be helpful despite the language barrier. A selection of different pillows is available in the lobby, but the one in the room was decently comfortable as was the bed. Wifi worked alright, and the breakfast was decent. Room is fairly spacious as far as Japanese hotels go.

The hotel is very nice; it seems to be one of the largest in Miyako and is quite central and close to the train station. Not everyone among the staff speaks English but they are very patient and there's always a way to communicate via translation apps etc.
