Based on local tax laws, guests with a tourist visa to Israel are exempted from paying VAT for their reservation. Israeli citizens and residents ("non tourists" as defined in the VAT law) must pay VAT. This tax is automatically calculated in the total cost of the reservation for domestic customers. For guests booking from outside of Israel, the tax is not included in the total price.Please note that on Saturdays and the final day of Jewish holidays, check-in is possible one and a half hour after sunset. There were some good things and a couple of annoying things. The room was a good size. With Bathroom, sofa and double bed. There was also a small kitchenette area with a sink and fridge ( mini bar) that did NOT have a freezer section. When we got to the room, my wife wanted a bath. There was no plug in the bath and so I had to go to reception and ask for one. There was also no hairdryer. The room was clean, and the bathroom had lots of soaps. shower gels and shampoos. The Hotel is 100meters away from the Ramon Crater promenade, which is very convenient. The Hotel is 100 meters away from Chabad ( which is convenient for Prayers) The breakfast was adequate. I have had better, and I have had worse. The pool was small but clean and well kept. There were plenty of towels available and sun loungers to sit on after getting out of the pool, Parking was free ( although there is limited free parking space). Overall, a nice place and quite well priced.

Breakfast is very good: ample choice of cheeses, salads breads and more. Coffee is available from machine (bean to cup) and different selection can be made.

The location is very good, right nearby to the crater, and nearby to the intercity bus stop. Note, however, that the area with restaurants would be away. The price was rather steep, but it seems it's on par to other locations in the area. The staff was all fine, even if there was pressure from a lot of people checking in at the same time. Note that most rooms are only accessible with stairs. Wi-Fi worked well in the room. There was a bathtub that could actually be used as a bath. Noise isolation worked well. The breakfast was good, with decent variety, but as mentioned in the negatives, the breakfast area was quite cramped and it was quite chaotic.

compared to other hotels, this was reasonable... ask for a room in the New Wing if possible. Staff was helpful. Breakfast was pretty good and what I expected for a hotel of this price range... shower was hot, good pressure.. my room had a jacuzzi tub.. Indoor pool was clean, bright., lots of towels and water was warm. Kids loved it .
