The friendliest staff we had throughout our trip! With the ocean view and sea turtles popping up for air every few minutes. A-ma-zing stay 🙏🏼 Even if there was no soda or snacks, the staff was more than happy to go and get the food and drinks from the local store.

Literally everything was perfect! The team is warm, welcoming, helpful and super polite! Big authentic smiles all day! The food is out of this world! Go for the Sri Lankan breakfast and make sure to have dinner at least once, that Tuna steak was just unreal! Cleaning was spotless! We felt like home every minute of our stay and we would still sit on our balcony in deep conversations staring at the perfect surf if we could! Villa Oceane is all about Indika and his wonderful crew! Thank you guys! We had a fantastic time!

This place is absolutely breathtaking. Not only is the room and hotel immaculate, but with just 5 rooms, you honestly feel like you have the entire place to yourselves. They don’t let any non-guests into the hotel or garden, meaning you always have tons of privacy and space. The garden and pool area is incredible, and kept absolutely pristinely, with a bigger swimming pool than I’ve seen in some large resort hotels, so when not completely to yourselves (which it often was!) tons of space to feel like your own. A highlight was watching the surfers every evening as the sunset right in front of the hotel, with a few Turtles also making an appearance closer to shore / by the garden. It’s only 10 minutes from the main beach in Mirissa by TulTuk, and there’s a closer beach 5/10 mins walk away for swimming / snorkelling. This wouldn’t of course be the place it was without the staff. They were incredibly attentive and friendly, and make you feel entirely at home. We opted to have dinner 2 of the 3 nights we were there, and realistically should have done all 3, the food was some of the best we had in our 2 weeks in Sri Lanka, having both the curries, and fresh Yellowfin Tuna steak, both as good as it gets. A special mention to the young chap who serves dinner / breakfast (didn’t catch his name) he made all mealtimes even better, always with a huge smile, bringing you anything you needed, and topping up anything on your plate you wanted more of, and got the balance of attentive vs privacy perfectly. This is one of the nicest hotels I’ve ever stayed in, and would come back in a heartbeat!

The service was awesome from the most junior to the most senior staff . Always helpful and friendly. The meals are served on balcony / verandah and were of a very high standard . The villa has a nice refreshing pool . It’s about 500 m from lots of nice cafes , bars and restaurants in Madiha that has a beach mainly surfers . It was about a 10 min tuk-tuk ride into Mirissa .
