Lovely design hotel and very attentive staff. Such a nice pool and it’s a great location outside of the town. massive breakfast too. A little pricey but we got what we paid for

We absolutely loved our stay at Lantern Boutique Hotel! The rooms were gorgeous – beautifully styled and so comfortable. Its location is ideal: a peaceful stretch of beach just outside of Mirissa, giving you the best of both worlds – tranquillity with easy access to the buzz of the town. The staff were all so lovely and made us feel really welcome from the moment we arrived. There were great options for sun beds, whether you wanted to relax by the beach or the pool. Breakfast was delicious every morning – fresh, varied, and beautifully presented. If I had to be picky, the pool could’ve been a touch cooler – but honestly, everything else was perfect. Would definitely recommend and would love to return one day!

Food wasn’t as good as the rest of the facilities. Spa was spectacular! Staff all very helpful, especially two women on reception and masseuse.

We stayed 10 years ago when it was owned by the original owners. It’s different now. The property has been well maintained. The housekeeping staff were great! The young restaurant staff were not experienced enough, the food was so overpriced and not a good selection. There was only one Sri Lankan dish offered.
