Everything about Coco Mirissa was exceptional. You are maybe 50 steps from the water, if that. The Villa is so comfortable with great aircon that fills the whole place - definitely needed in the beautiful warm weather. The waves are great for beginner surfers, and I’m sure enough of a ride for those more practiced. You get a real ‘Sri Lanka surfer’ vibe from the place and it was so relaxing. Above all the sights and comforts; the staff are beyond incredible. Janaka, Lendi and Madu - 3 men who were so accommodating to every need and more helpful than we could hope for. Janaka, the owner, joined us on several tuktuk rides into town to help with getting the best exchange rates, shopping options and food supplies. Madu, the chef of the resort - absolutely a master in the kitchen, the other boys all chipped in as well to make sure our food was incredible. The boys allowed us to take over the kitchen one night when we had 14+ friends stop over for a night party on the beach, the staff all helped make that night special and blessed us with the opportunity to all come together. And finally, Lendi, the all-rounder, he was everywhere - offering assistance and cleaning and maintaining the standards that took our breath away in the beginning. This is THE place if you’re looking for a real Sri Lankan beach experience. We found baby turtles on the beach and fireflies lit up the sky at night, even more than the distant fireworks you’d see every evening. I think you know you’ve found somewhere special when you feel so sad to be leaving. Go to Coco Mirissa, stay as long as you can.

Superb location. Right on Weligama beach. It’s a small bungalow with 2 separate apartments on each floor. We stayed on the first floor apartment which has 2 separate bed rooms and one bathroom. They have direct beach access and it’s a serene beach with no one around. Like a private beach. Surfing facilities are available. Janaka the owner of the property himself is a trainer. 7 minutes tuktuk ride to Mirissa public beach. Couple of good restaurant a few minutes walk on the beach. Janaka is a superb host always available and able to organise anything including taxis sightseeing food etc.

A very high standard villa Everything is clean and tidy Service at a very high level good people House a short distance from the beach, great fun. Recommended for everyone who likes quiet sea and sky come.
