The room was a bit small, but we had everything we needed. For Italian standards, the mattress and pillows were relatively comfortable. The room was clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful and they did their work with a big smile. It made us feel very welcome. The staff does not speak English and we didn’t speak Italian. We didn’t consider this as a problem though, because they really did their best to help us and inform us well. With Google Translate and some gesturing, we managed to communicate with each other. Breakfast was simple, but included and alright for us. There are croissants, yoghurts, marmelades, crackers, pie. In the hotel there is also a good-rated restaurant. We had dinner there, which was very good and not too expensive. Really recommend eating there. Not only for the food, but also for the very kind and enthusiastic staff. There is a secured parking lot available. Booking.com can be a bit unclear about this, but it costs €10 and it is preferred to book in advance. Good to know: We booked last-minute and paid (incl. parking) about € 100. For this price, the quality was good.
