We spent 7 wonderful nights at Al Pasetto and we couldn't be happier with our choice of accommodation. The apartment has everything you need for a stay: shower, kitchen with all utensils, stove, microwave/oven/grill, fridge/freezer and a wash machine. The bedding was clean and crispy and with plenty of towels. When we arrived, Milan was hot and extremely humid, so having air conditioning was perfect. We found the sofa/bed a little uncomfortable, but I guess it's a plus when you rent the place for more than two people. Communication with the owners was always prompt and very responsive. I remember having to change our days but once we knew the apartment wasn't book for the new days, changing dates was easy and quick. The apartment is on the second floor and no lift, so going up with the suitcases wasn't comfortable, but you have to do it only two times, so it's ok. Now about areas and getting around: We arrived at Linate airport. From there we took a bus that dropped us off at Milan Central Station, then the metro (line 2) and got off at Moscova station, which is im less than 5 minutes walk to the apartment. The apartment is in the Brera district, one of the best areas of Milan, not only because is safety, but because it's very central, surrounded by many restaurants. There is a Carrefour 5 minutes walk away, but we preferred laESSE. The Pinacoteca di Brera was only 5 minutes walk away and within a 15-30 minute walk, you'll find: Teatro alla Scalla, Duomo di Milano, Galleries Vittorio Emanuele II, the famous Luini Panzerotti, Pinacoteca Ambrosiana, Sforza Castle, Leonardo 3 Museum, etc. We took the metro to go to the Museum of Science, and from there Santa Maria delle Grazzie, where you can see The Last Supper is in walking distance. Our return flight was at Malpensa Airport, which we reached by train. In short: our stay in Milan was so pleasant and hassle-free that we can't recommend it highly enough.
