The fine print
Based on local tax laws, guests with a tourist visa to Israel are exempted from paying VAT for their reservation. Israeli citizens and residents ("non tourists" as defined in the VAT law) must pay VAT. This tax is automatically calculated in the total cost of the reservation for domestic customers. For guests booking from outside of Israel, the tax is not included in the total price.Please note that this is a non-kosher property. Breakfast was basic, but quite sufficient. I love the history and archaeology that are such a part of the hotel's atmosphere. All the staff are polite, helpful, and considerate.

This hotel is lovely and clean. The rooms are very large and comfortable. The grounds are so pretty and peaceful. We loved the chapel on the grounds, and meeting Father Kelly and his sister, Celine was such an amazing treat. The pool was fun for my granddaughters, and the lifeguard was so courteous. The food choices were many and it was very good for dinner and for breakfast.
