The apartment was super comfortable. I stayed with a friend, and it was spacious enough for 2 people: the bed is huge, we didn’t even notice each other’s presence while sleeping, the working desk has 2 chairs and good lighting from the window. The internet was great, I could send some big files within an hour. We didn’t cook, so we didn’t have a chance to check the cooking facilities, but there were enough utensils for us, a kettle for hot water and a fridge. Also it has a stove, but as I’ve mentioned, we didn’t use it. The bathroom is modern. The AC worked perfectly. And one of the most important facilities was the washing machine. There are a few good cafes/restaurants in the area, and a surf spot Lazy Left/Right are 5 min walking distance. The host was available at all times providing necessary help. Very grateful for my stay! Definitely coming back next year.

Review of Coastal Hideaway: I recently had the pleasure of staying at Coastal Hideaway and I must say, it was a delightful experience. The hotel's location, just 500 meters from Midigama Beach, provided easy access to the stunning shoreline and allowed for a peaceful and relaxing stay. The accommodation at Coastal Hideaway was fantastic. The air-conditioned units were comfortable and well-appointed, offering a spacious balcony where I could unwind and enjoy the surrounding views. The fully equipped kitchenette with a fridge, kettle, and minibar was a convenient addition, allowing me to prepare meals and enjoy snacks at my own leisure. One aspect that stood out during my stay was the impeccable service provided by the hotel staff. They were friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist with any requests or inquiries. Their warm hospitality truly made me feel welcome and ensured that my stay was enjoyable. In terms of location, Coastal Hideaway is ideally situated for exploring the area. Ahangama Beach, just 1.7 kilometers away, was another beautiful spot to visit, and the famous Galle International Cricket Stadium was within a reasonable distance. Additionally, the availability of a paid airport shuttle service, with the nearest airport being Koggala at 10 kilometers away, made transportation to and from the hotel hassle-free. The hotel's garden and terrace were lovely spaces to relax and soak in the serene atmosphere. The presence of free WiFi throughout the property was also a convenient feature, allowing me to stay connected during my stay. Overall, I highly recommend Coastal Hideaway for anyone seeking a tranquil and comfortable retreat near Midigama Beach. With its excellent accommodation, friendly staff, and convenient location, it offers a memorable and enjoyable experience. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to the area.

A beautiful well kept, modern property, hidden away from the busyness of the town. Has everything you need from A/C and a fan to a mini fridge.

The property is new and in a quiet place. The shower is gorgeous and there’s a small kitchen and even a laundry machine . The beach and the train station are very close
