The hotel is surrounded by useful shops and food outlets. Short taxi ride gets you into Newport and its attractions. It was a great base for exploring the area.

Booked two connected rooms. Beds were clean and comfortable, and that's coming from a germaphobe! The bathroom had a few rusty yellow stains though, mostly cosmetic, probably results of age. Overall, the rooms were pretty well maintained. It was mostly quiet for the rest of the evening aside from some young children running in the halls. But that stopped by 9pm. Hotel offers plenty of parking spaces! Would consider returning.
