Very nicely decorated house, clean, welcoming and with all of the facilities and items needed for our week long stay. Kitchen was well stocked with all we needed to cater for the week. The hosts left cream tea items for us which was lovely, and there are a number of unexpected, nice touches in the house - for example extra blankets/throws in the lounge for more cosy evenings. The location is very handy to walk into Mevagissey harbour, and there are plenty of pubs, restaurants and takeaways within a few minute walk. Car parking is 30 seconds walk away, and an extra £8 per day. Previous reviews mentioned the shower as an issue, but we found it perfect - perhaps it had been replaced since.

Very comfortable, well equipped kitchen and complete with books and games. Lovely to have blankets to snuggle in on the sofa although the heating worked well and the house was always a comfortable temperature so more of a luxury than a necessity. Lots of character and charm. Ideal quiet, tucked away location very close to the centre of Mevagissey.

This cottage is in a great location for exploring Mevagissey - it is a 3 minutes walk to the harbour which has lots of amenities including bakeries, fresh fish outlets and cafes. There is also a small beach next to the harbour for swimming / paddling. The cottage is comfortable with a well-equipped kitchen diner and lounge downstairs and two bedrooms / main bathroom upstairs on two upper floors, Perhaps a bit on the dark side and there's no outside space, but this is easily compensated by the short walk to the harbour. There's no parking, so park in the Sunny Corner Car Park (across the way from the property) - you can get a week's ticket. The entrance is down the passage next to 47 Old Harbour Cottage sign. So if you want a comfortable stay in a cottage well within easy reach of the pretty Mevagissey harbour this is for you.
